These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Companion for Fortnite mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Companion for Fortnite is an independent companion app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or specifically approved by Epic Games, Inc. Fortnite, Save the World, Battle Royale, and all related names, characters, logos, and marks are trademarks of Epic Games, Inc. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. This license is also subject to Apple's standard End User License Agreement, which is incorporated by reference.

The App offers a single one-time, non-consumable purchase called Premium Unlock (USD $9.99 or local equivalent), which permanently unlocks the News, Player Stats, BR POIs Map, and V-Bucks Education features on the Apple ID used to make the purchase.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. All sales are final except where required by law. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple. We do not process refunds.
You may restore a previously completed Premium Unlock purchase at any time using the "Restore Purchase" action in the app's Settings or paywall.
Game data shown in the App (cosmetics, item shop, news, map, player stats, etc.) is sourced from public third-party APIs, including but not limited to fortnite-api.com. This data is provided "as is" and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or temporarily unavailable. We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or accuracy.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DATA SHOWN WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER OF COMPANION FOR FORTNITE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR PREMIUM UNLOCK IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $10, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. These Terms remain in effect until terminated.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page and reflected inside the app, with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence to the extent they apply. Where additional terms apply by virtue of your purchase through Apple's App Store, Apple's standard EULA shall also apply. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory consumer rights you may have.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer of Companion for Fortnite, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you.
